پچ پنل قطعه ای مستطیلی شکل است که روی آن تعداد مشخصی (24 یا 48) پورت شبکه وجود دارد و داخل رک قرار می گیرد. متناسب با نیاز سیستم شبکه و تعداد فعلی و آینده کلاینت ها در سیستم، تعداد پچ پنل ها در رک ها متغیر خواهد بود.در نتیجه می توان گفت پچ پنل رابطی برای مرتب کردن و توزیع کابل های شبکه است.

پچ پنل های 1 unit شرکت R&M براساس نوع آداپتور و نحوه دسترسی پچ پنل های خود را به دسته تقسیم می کند:

   1-Unirack  :در قسمت جلویی به آداپتورها و پیگتیل ها مجهز هستند.قابلیت پشتیبانی تا 48 پورت.در دو نوعunirack  و UniRack2 تقسیم می شوند.در مدل uniRack یک سینی splice و در unirack2 دو سینی splice وجود داردو تا 96 پورت را پشتیبانی می کند.

      2-Fibereasy rack:در قسمت جلویی به آداپتور مجهز هستند. قابلیت پشتیبانی تا 96 پورت.در دو نوع single mode و multi mode موجود است.

      3-MTP/MPO panel: این ماژول‌ها از کابل ورودی با کانکتورهای MPO پشتیبانی می‌کنند. ظرفیت این ماژول‌ها نسبت به ماژول‌های Splice و Breakout بیشتر می‌باشد که، در پچ پنل‌های مسی یک یونیتی و سه یونیتی از آنها استفاده می‌شود.

برخی از ویژگی های رک های 1 یونیتی این شرکت در ذیل اشاره شده است:

  • پشتیبانی از 24 پورت (SC) و 48 پورت (LC-Duplex)
  • آداپتورهای پشتیبانی شده توسط این نوع پچ پنل‌ها عبارتند از SC,LC,ST,SC-RJ,E-2000
  • پیشتیبانی از کابل‌های Loose Tube با طول‌های متفاوت: این پچ پنل‌ها از کابل‌های فیبر نوری Loose Tube با طول‌های متنوع پشتیبانی می‌کند.

 

ماژول های Splice&Breakout   پچ پنل فیبر نوری

این ماژول‌ها در دو نوع Splice و Breakout ساخته می‌شوند که نوع اول دارای کاست‌هایی برای جوش کابل‌های فیبر نوری هستند و فیبرهای نوری بسته به ظرفیت ماژول درون این کاست‌ها جوش می‌خورند. کابل های Breakout ماژول‌هایی هستند که فیبر بصورت یکپارچه وارد آن شده و درون آداپتورهای فیبر نوری قرار می‌گیرد.

 پچ پنل‌های UniRack  دارای Splice هستند و کابل‌های فیبر درون این پچ پنل و در این Splice هاجوش می‌خورند. پچ پنل‌های FibereasyRack برعکس پچ پنل‌های UniRack، دارای Splice نیستند و کابل‌ها بصورت مسقیم درون آداپتورهای پچ پنل به یکدیگر اتصال پیدا می‌کنند. دسته دیگر پچ پنل‌ها که MTP/MPO panel نام دارند که، پچ پنل‌های تولیدی توسط شرکت R&M هستند این پچ پنل‌ها دارای ظرفیت‌های بالایی هستند و کانکتور کابل ورودی آنها از نوع MTP/MPO نری می‌باشد.
